Warranty & Returns

Skiparoo logo

Every Skiparoo is tested and assembled by hand in Melbourne before it ships. If something isn't right, we'll sort it out.

12-month warranty

Your Skiparoo alarm clock and skipping rope are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against faults in materials and workmanship.

If your unit develops a fault within that period, we'll repair it or replace it — whichever suits you best. We cover the return postage on warranty claims within Australia.

What's covered

  • Device not functioning as described in the User Guide
  • Manufacturing defects present on arrival

What's not covered

  • Accidental damage, drops, or crushing
  • Water damage or use outside normal indoor conditions
  • Normal wear on the rope cable and handles
  • Damage from opening, modifying, or repairing the unit yourself

30-day satisfaction returns

If the Skiparoo isn't for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price — no fault required and no explanation needed.

To qualify, the clock and rope need to come back in reasonable condition with everything they arrived with. Return postage on change-of-mind returns is at your expense. We'll process the refund to your original payment method within five business days of the parcel arriving.

How to start a claim or return

  1. Email dylan.fernandes@buildgoodhabits.com.au with your order number and a short description of the problem.
  2. We'll reply with a return address and, for warranty claims, a prepaid label.
  3. Pack the unit securely — the original box is ideal — and send it off.
  4. For warranty claims, once it arrives, we'll assess it and repair or replace it as described above. For an Australian Consumer Law claim involving a major problem, you may choose a refund or replacement.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits provided by our 12-month warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available under law. Your Australian Consumer Law rights may continue after the 12-month warranty period.
